We believe that Jesus’ mandate to the church, as a whole, is to care for the widows, orphans and aliens around us. This refers to people who find themselves in desperate situations, often due to circumstances out of their control. God’s heart is to love them, care for them and feed them.

Therefore, working according to a means scale, we provide regular food parcels for people who cannot provide for themselves. We also often provide help in the form of clothing parcels, assistance with school fees and provision of school stationery at the beginning of the school year.

We also have a “Winter Woolies’ drive each year where we ensure that people in need have warm clothes for the winter season. On occasion, we have been able to help provide insulation and water proofing in homes as well as assistance in coordinating solar water geysers.

We love to make Christmas time a special time for those in need and we have made Christmas hampers, provided a Christmas lunch for people and provided meal vouchers for them. It is an incredibly heart-warming time to see people delighted as they receive these blessings at this special time.
